Silverfin Provides top quality smoked silver
persch wich are provided by Queensland Native Fish Hatchery
(QNF). QNF is situated in Childers in South East Queensland.
This area providedes ideal conditions for producing Silver
Perch constantly all year round.
Dale and Lisa Cockerton of Queensland Native
Fish Hatchery are devoted to breeding and supplying superior
quality fish.
QNF is a 33 heactare fish farm in Childers
Queensland established in 1986 and has been traiding as Queensland
Native Fish Hatchery under the Cockertons' ownership since
2003.
The QNF Hatchery breeds and produces all it's
own fingerlings and feeds them on a formulated fish food diet
to maximise there growth. It adheres to strict quality control
measures in complience with the Aquaculture Association of
Queensland (AAQ) and Safe Food QLD guidlines for table fish.
